A year ago today, I ran downstairs to seek shelter when I spotted this view from the bay window in our den.
I was alone, I was scared…but I was safe.
A micro-burst had hit the city of Clyde, its 100 mile-per-hour winds destroying trees and houses. Nobody that I knew of was injured, and Dave and I got a brand new roof out of the ordeal.
Thankfully, the morning of May 1, 2012 was uneventful.
May the remainder of this year’s tornado season continue to be uneventful…
